Liberal groups such as MoveOn.org and the AFL-CIO have already lined up behind Arkansas Lt. Gov. Bill Halter since he announced his primary challenge to Sen. Blanche Lincoln on Monday. Now he’s embracing another idea dear to the progressive wing of the Democratic Party — the public option.
