  • And here I go...

I got my period yesterday so I went in to the clinic today to start my cycle. Ultrasound and bloodwork were all fine so we are cleared to start the estrofem today. I am supposed to go back in one week for more monitoring. I guess transfer will be in 2-2.5 weeks from now. I'm excited and nervous and hoping we won't be too stressed out -- dh is having a *very* stressful time at work right now. Good thing FET is so much easier than a fresh cycle.

Getting close, Patti! I have a good feeling for you.

How can you have a transfer date set already? Don't they need to monitor how the thickness of the lining etc. and then do it at the exact right time?

          Long story...

Levana - They are aiming for that date. Yes, anything can change, as we all know too well....our FET nurse consult is in the morning. We'll learn more then... Good luck to you! How are the meds so far?

Thanks, Annette - how are you doing these days? I think of you often.

Hey Patti, that's sweet of you to think about me Every day I think about the next time we will try again but when that will be I don't know. I got a second opinion and they said they think it is egg quality vs. sperm quality so at least I think our odds would be better if that were the case because it's a lot easier to control egg quality from what I hear. So we're just kind of in a holding pattern, it's going to be a while, maybe next March (2012) if we keep both second jobs for a year. My husband seems to think we can raise the money sooner than that from our second jobs but we will see. Looking forward to hearing about your FET!!

((hugs)) to you Annette! This journey is crazy and unfair and a lot of other things. I'm glad they have some ideas of how to help you improve the quality...and how to make it work for next time. Thinking of you!
