Estrogen levels during IVF

I am currently doing an IVF cycle and after 6 days of stims my E2 was 381 up from 78 on day 3. On day 8 I had 4 follicles: 21mm, 20mm, 19mm, 18mm and my estrogen level came back at 497. I triggered that night but was wondering why my estrogen only went from 381 to 497 in 2 days? What would cause that? Can estrogen levels reach a peak and is that it? Can it mean poor egg quality etc?
