DNC raises $9.1 million, GOP committees lead

The Democratic National Committee raised $9.1 million in January and ended the month with $10.2 million on hand, according to a report filed with the Federal Election Commission. Those numbers follow the Republican National Committee's Friday announcement that it took in $10.5 million in January and had $9.4 million in the bank on Jan. 31.
