Indiana Rep. Baron Hill is hoping to decide Friday whether he'll vie for the Democratic nomination to succeed retiring Sen. Evan Bayh, the Indianapolis Star reports. “I'm trying to do this week what I was not able to do last week, and that is to call committee members, call people back home and ask them what they think. I'm still going through that process," said Hill, who was out of the country when Bayh announced his decision not to seek another term.
