Baron Hill won't run for senate

Indiana Rep. Baron Hill plans to announce today that he will not run for the Senate in 2010, two sources familiar with Hill's plans confirm to POLITICO. Hill, a five-term congressman from Seymour, will make his plans known at a noon press conference. The decision would make Rep. Brad Ellsworth the strong favorite to become the Democratic nomination to succeed retiring Sen. Evan Bayh.
