Illinois state Sen. Kirk Dillard conceded defeat in the Republican primary for governor Friday, more than a month after the early February vote. The Illinois Board of Elections certified state Sen. Bill Brady as the winner of his party's nomination, with a final lead over Dillard of 193 votes. Brady will now face Democratic Gov. Pat Quinn in the general election.
