Roll Call reports that Mark Critz, John Murtha's former aide who won the Democratic nomination in the special election to succeed his late boss, attended a 2005 meeting of contractors and defense lobbyists to discuss an earmark which Murtha supported that later resulted in criminal convictions of three men. Critz wasn't available to comment for the story, but his spokesman said that while some said Murtha "fought too aggressively to bring economic development and jobs to Western Pennsylvania, Mark disagrees."
