N.Y. Dem hires GOP consultant

New York Democratic Suffolk County Executive Steve Levy, who may run for governor on the GOP ballot line, hired Republican consultant Michael Hook on Tuesday, while cautioning observers not to expect a firm decision on a campaign this week. Levy told the Daily News: "We are aggressively pursuing the notion of running, but there's no confirmation at this point."
