A source close to Tommy Thompson tells the Washington Post's Chris Cillizza that the former Republican governor is split "50-50" on the possibility of a challenge to Democratic Sen. Russ Feingold this year. That number's down from the "70 percent" likelihood a Thompson adviser told POLITICO two weeks ago.
