Former wrestling executive Linda McMahon holds a 10-point lead in the Republican Senate primary in Connecticut, according to a Quinnipiac poll released Wednesday morning. McMahon, who trailed former Rep. Rob Simmons by the same margin in January, is now ahead, 44 percent to 34 percent. Both McMahon and Simmons would lose by a wide margin to state Attorney General Richard Blumenthal in a general election. The Democrat leads McMahon by 31 points and tops Simmons by 36.
