Would-be New York Democrat Tim Bishop opponent Chris Cox unveiled his finance team on Tuesday, featuring national Republican heavies including former Reps. Tom Loeffler and Tom Davis, fundraiser Fred Malek and New York supermarket baron John Catsimatidis. Cox, the grandson of Richard Nixon and son of state GOP Chairman Ed Cox, is running in a primary against businessman Randy Altschuler, who can sort of be his own finance team.
