In a fundraising email to supporters Tuesday, Massachusetts Republican Sen. Scott Brown raised the specter of a 2012 faceoff between him and MSNBC host Rachel Maddow, a Bay State Native. "[B]efore I've even settled into my new job, the political machine in Massachusetts is looking for someone to run against me," Brown wrote. "I'm sure she's a nice person - I just don't think America can afford her liberal policies."
