Newt raising for lt. gov. hopeful

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich plans to headline an April 8 fundraiser for Louisiana Republican Party Chairman Roger Villere's campaign for lieutenant governor. Villere, who's running for the vacancy created by Mitch Landrieu's election as mayor of New Orleans, announced his candidacy earlier this week.
