A new group calling itself the Committee to Protect Nevada Jobs plans to work to support Gov. Jim Gibbons in the state's June 8 GOP primary. Jon Ralston reports in the Las Vegas Sun that the committee's led by an adviser to Democratic gubernatorial candidate Rory Reid, and aims to ensure Reid has a weak general election opponent. The group will start airing TV ads next week that will continue throughout the primary.
