Republicans are on track to get their preferred candidates in Nevada's gubernatorial and Senate races, according to a Mason-Dixon poll conducted for the Las Vegas Review-Journal. In the Senate race, former state GOP Chairwoman Sue Lowden takes 45 percent of the primary vote, with developer Danny Tarkanian in second place with 27 percent. In the Republican govenor primary, former state Attorney General and federal Judge Brian Sandoval has opened up a 14-point lead over incumbent Gov. Jim Gibbons.
