Former Georgia GOP Rep. Nathan Deal is facing a new round of ethics questions after spending nearly $20,000 in campaign funds for his governor race on legal fees related to his service in Congress. Deal's attorney said the disbursements were "perfectly legal," and a spokesman for the candidate said he was following his lawyer's advice in writing checks from the state account.
