Mack quits Crist campaign

Former Florida Sen. Connie Mack announced last night he was withdrawing as chairman of Gov. Charlie Crist's Senate campaign, following the governor's decision to veto an education reform bill overwhelmingly backed by the GOP. "Your veto I believe undermines our education system in Florida and the principles for which I have always stood," Mack said in a letter.
