Mac D'Alessandro, a regional political director for the SEIU, is moving ahead with a primary campaign against Massachusetts Democratic Rep. Stephen Lynch, saying he "absolutely" would have voted for the health care reform bill that Lynch opposed. If D'Alessandro gathers enough signatures to make the ballot, he could become the first serious primary challenger to take on one of the Democratic health care "no" votes.
