I just found out my sister in law is pregnant. Though I am of course happy for her it reminds me of the empty womb I have. I have been married 9 years and had to watch while countless friends and family members have had babies. I feel sick to my stomach, the pain I feel overwhelms me. I am so thankful I am a reciepient of the INCIID heart scholarship but feel like I will never reach my donation goal, I still have 925.00 more to raise.

Hi Jessica - I know that the place you want to be feels so elusive and as others around you seem to march unimpeded towards motherhood the pain at times can seem unbearable. This struggle hits you at the core of your being and you have been in it for longer than is ever fair - I encourage you to take a couple of days to nurture your soul with someone who truly gets how hard this all is - the kindness can be the balm you need to help you hang in there. You have made progress, albeit it agonizingly slow, sometimes we have to give our heart the break it needs to ensure that it doesn't shatter.
