  • How long do you try?

My husband and I have been ttc for three years. Our life seems to be on hold as each month passes. We are happy to try and then when our dreams are dashed every month. When is enough enough? How do you decide to just top trying?

    Mary,
That's a question only you can answer. I think it would help if you mapped out a plan of what you will do and how much you can budget to spend. I know that's not easy but having some structure and a plan you can follow may give you some support.

It is very heart wrenching to keep trying month after month only to get your heart broken every time. You have to decide when enough is enough for yourself. We will be married for 10 years next week and we are FINALLY 18 1/2 weeks pregnant thanks to INCIID. I got off of my birth control pills the month we got married but we didn't start fertility treatments until about 3 or 4 years into not conceiving on our own. We did 6 IUI's and 3 full cycles of IVF and are now finally pregnant! We are ecstatic!

It is. I am married for 3 years and still i couldn't get pregnant. We are doing everything we can and yet nothing good happened. Maybe God thinks it's not the right time for me to become a mom yet.

          Hello!!!

Hello ladies (gents)... I am happy to be part of the community. I am 34 years old and I had the Essure procedure done by force due to an abusive relationship in 2009. I am now married to my soulmate and he has no children of his own at 54 years old. Years ago (14) when we were together the first time, we conceived a child but had a horrible miscarriage. It still hurts us to this day. Well, because of my Essure and he has unexplained infertility that has caused a blockage, we both now have to do IVF but we do not have IVF coverage. Life is almost complete that this would just be the seal on our life if we can have a child together. I hope to gets lots of advice and info from you ladies and hopefully we can lift each other up as we go thru this journey!!!

            Hi everyone,

My name is Ren, and I represent a reputable US-based company offering a potential solution to women who have been affected by infertility issues.

We are intending to launch a campaign for National Infertility Week next week in order to help raise awareness and help those who are struggling to afford potential treatments. To that end, we are interested in hearing from any women who have been diagnosed with infertility and are willing to share their story.

If that is you, please do send me a message on here and I would love to connect.

            Ren

Infertility is defined as not being able to get pregnant after one year of unprotected sex. Women who do not have regular menstrual cycles, or are older than 35 years and have not conceived during a 6-month period of trying, should consider making an appointment with a reproductive endocrinologist - an infertility specialist.

I think it might be ideal on the off chance that you mapped out an arrangement of what you will do and the amount you can spending plan to spend. I realize that is difficult however having some structure and an arrangement you can take after may give you some support.
