  • Hi Dr Roseff

You've been tremendously helpful to me answering many of my questions and I just wanted to let you know I got a positive home pregnancy test this morning! I'm very happy, but also very nervous as I know I'm a higher risk for another miscarriage due to my age and 3 prior losses. What I'm curious to know from you though is in your experience, do you see fewer miscarriages with FETs then with fresh cycles? I'm just wondering if the freezing and thawing process possibly eliminates weaker embryos and perhaps my chances are better since this is frozen cycle? (we thawed 4 embryos but only 3 made it transfer). I go in for my blood work on Monday morning (which will be 15dpo) and have my fingers crossed I get a strong #.

Thanks again for all your help and quick replies. It really is an enormous help to women like me, you have no idea...

No, JoAnn, I see the same number of losses with fresh vs. FET cycles.

Congrats, and I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!
