I have recently been told by my RE that I have fluid in my uterus. My tubes are clear, I do not have PCOS or endo. He is taking the wait and see approach. Is there anything more productive then just waiting? He said that there is not a treatment, but I've been reading some about aspirating the fluid online. Unfortunately this seems related to IVF and we were only going to be starting IUI.

Luteal phase biopsies have been shown to be meaningless (if they're checking for luteal phase defect). That was published in Fertility and Sterility (journal) years ago....

Intrauterine (endometrial) inflammation is best checked BEFORE ovulation has taken place, not in the second half of the menstrual cycle. Before menses, there are NORMAL, inflammatory changes taking place in the uterine lining (getting ready for shedding as a menstrual period). Biopsies to check for inflammation are therefore best done prior to ovulation.... Sorry to hear your doctor isn't aware of this.
