FETs in women over 40

Hi,
I strongly believe it's the former, not the latter. That is, women who ultimately have embryos to freeze, may have better ovarian reserve and "stronger" embryos (thus resulting in something to freeze) compared to those who only end up with 2 embryos on a fresh cycle and nothing to freeze.
There IS a possible negative effect of high estrogen levels on embryo implantation (we know that), so I can't rule that out as possibly contributing to the overall implantation rate as well.

I hope I'll have one or two to freeze, but I'm not optimistic (I'm 42). Had never heard about that about high levels of e2. I'm wondering -- how high is "high"? Like OHSS high, or would e2 levels during a normal IVF in the range of 1000 - 2000 possibly impact implantation?
Thanks so much for your response,
Sophie
