  • Hi Dr Roseff, TSH question, (pg ment)

Hi,I am finally pregnant as I received a 70 hcg at 10dp3dt yesertday however I am cautiously optimistic given my 4 previous chemicals/failures. IS 70 a good beta for 10dp3dt? I just hope it doubles or more tomorrow but I feel so PMS'y right now so I am really scared. I had a my blood drawn for TSH as well. My TSH is 2.10. Can I sustain a pregnancy with this level or should I beg for them to change my script to get it lower. I am a nervous wreck and there is always something for me to worry about. I am 38 years old and I transferred 4- 8 cell no fragmentation embryos. I am the person who freaked out my last cycle because I thought I caused a miscarriage because I forgot to put on the progesterone cream. :-/My fsh was 12.9 and my AMH is .17 Thank you for any help you share!

    Hi,

Yes, that's a very good beta for 10d after a d3 transfer....! The TSH level is normal. I know you're a nervous wreck, but hopefully this one is a "keeper"!

    Good luck, and congrats!!!!

Thank you so much for the reassurance. I had my second beta and it was 154 at 12dp3dt. The Dr gave me some percentages.. 80 to 85% chance of ongoing pregnancy from here and 95% after we see the heartbeat. He says these are due to my age of 38. Do you agree?
      Thank you, Lisa

          Beta didn't double...

          Hi Dr Roseff,
I always value your opinion and will try to stop worrying if you thunk this is ok. My beta on Wednesday was 1658 and 45.5 hours later it is 2766. I was doubling every 42 hours before this. Is it really ok that it didn't double? I am such a nervous wreck!!

Thank you in advance for for any input you may have!

          ~Lisa

Still within normal range. We STOP doing betas after about 1,500. At that time, we schedule a sonogram, as we should see an intrauterine pregnancy once the beta reaches that level.

              Thank you!
They did an ultrasound the same day as the beta of 1658 and saw a gestational sac. I go back next week at 6 weeks 1 day to hopefully see a heartbeat. I guess I just wish I never had that second beta.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend!
