ques. about bleeding

I'm almost 6 weeks pregnant and had some bleeding last fri. went to the dr. he did an ultrasound and said that things looked just fine. the bleeding/spotting stopped but started again today. I'm so scared. I'm going back to see him on thurs. but I don't know if this is at all normal. they haven;t been able to see a heartbeat yet as it is too early but I just don't know if I should be worried

Let's see what the next ultrasound shows. It is tough, but no news is good news at this point.

update

well the doc. saw the heartbeat and so did my husband and I. I go back this wed. and if everything looks good then I go back to my regular OB. I'm obviously still very cautious and I'm taking it day by day but seeing a heartbeat was a good thing. thanks for all your advice
