    hiya

after talking with our embryologist we might try split ivf/icsi next cycle and it is thought that sometimes sperm that are left around the fertilised egg can somehow damaged the membrane, can you explain this

have you ever tried this is a case where no male factor is found?

we have had 3 fresh and 3 frozen cycles, all with great embryos, 2 fresh cycles did produce short pregnancies

i am currently waiting for my remaining clipped tube to be removed and then we will cycle again using suprecur, menopur, gestone, extra hcg and 20mg prednisonlone due to raised uNK cells

would really like your views please?

We think ICSI is indicated in cases of male factor as well as cases of poor egg quality, or poor prior fertilization. At our center we do 100% ICSI on all patients. This gives us the highest chance of fertilization. I personally do not understand the rationale for half ICSI. To us the most importantfactor is ensuring you have produced good quality eggs.

      thank you for your reply

i have always produced good quaility eggs and had good fertilsation

first cycle 6 eggs all fertilisted

second cycle 12 eggs 10 fertilised

third cycle 10 eggs (not all collected due to high ovary) 8 fertilised

is there anything you can suggest that might aid implantation?

Implantation issues can be investigated in your case, but it is critical to remember that normal appearing embryos can still be genetically abnormal. In fact 70% of embryos that look good on day 3 and 40% of those that look good on day 5 are genetically abnormal. Occasionally an abnormal embryo can make a baby, as in the case of Down's Syndrome. However, most abnormal embryos cannot support themselves and this is the reason the pregnancy failes. Many more abnormal embryos fail to implant.

A thorough review of your case is in order. If you contact me directly, I would be happy to speak with you. We have a comprehensive approach that evaluates and addresses all aspects.

Many patients from the UK do travel here to Las Vegas for treatment. You would only need to be here 10-14 days.
