hello and thank you for providing this forum!!
i just completed my first IVF cycle, after being cancelled for poor response, and ultimately responding poorly on this cycle.
my first attempt - bcp for a month, lupron, gonal-f, day 6 one lead follie, not much else - cancelled for oversuppression.
failed cycle - bcp for a month, no lupron, gonal-f 225 AM/PM, luveris 75 AM/PM, ganrilex, 6 follies, 3 eggs, two fert, one compacted, one 6-celled at day 3 transfer. after transfer, i was on daily progesterone and twice weekly delestrogen.
my details - i'm 40, FSH = 5.6, left tube blocked, and i'm clearly a "poor responder."
i have one more shot at IVF (already paid for) and i'm worried that it will be the same result as the first try.
i understand that quantity of eggs is not as important as quality. i'm worried that i don't have either.
what can i ask my RE when i see him next?
i feel like i'm out of time and money...its a tough place to be.
