    i really need some help

yesterday i abandoned my 4th fresh cycle of ivf due to only having 2 decent size follicles

here is my history in brief, i have no tubes due to hydrosalpinx, last one was clipped then removed in march this year

    2 x iui bfn 75 menopur
    ivf 1 2006 225 menpur 6 eggs collected miscarrige
    ivf 2 2007 300 menopur 12 eggs collected miscarriage
    ivf 3 2008 300 menopur 10 eggs collected
    fet x 3

ivf 4 2009 450 menopur, first scan day 8 of jabs showed 5 follicles on the right and one of the left, left ovary very high (was freed at op) , second scan day 11 of jabs, only 2 decent size follicles. i chose to abandon

i have found out i have uNkCELLs between cycle 3 and 4 and would take prednisolone if i get there that is!!

i tried a short protocol in april that was abandoned at baseline as my lining was too thick, day 2 8.9 day 3 8.6, what can be done about this? i took the pill for 6 weeks proir

could my poor response just be a blip

i think they are gona to try short protocol with gonal f but how do they make my lining thinner at baseline?

    what protocol would you set?

Response to IVF meds is age related. Previous pelvic surgery can damage the blood supply to the ovaries, so that even young women can have a low response. We find women like you may have an oversensitivity to male hormones and for this reason we do not like to use a lot of Menopur, especially at the beginning of a cycle. We also know the number of follicles is not as important as the quality of the eggs. In this specific case, I probably would have cancelled as well, because we didn't like the stimulation. However, using our approach we seldom cancel for low follicle numbers. It really only takes one normal egg to make a baby.

If you contact me directly, I would be happy to review your case and our approach with you in more detail.
