Is there any treatment for this condition? Have you heard of this? Is it genetic? My husband doesn't have the enzyme to breakdown and penetrate the egg, therefore we have to do ICSI. Is this our only option?

If he truely has this problem, then ICSI would be the only realistic option, besides donor sperm. The good news is that ICSI works extremely well in these cases.
