  • Donor Egg or should continue to use own eggs?

Hi, I am considering doing my 7th IVF cycle. Short background:

    Mild Endometrosis, Tubal Blockage, Fibroids

    Cycle 1 - Lupon/Gonal-f 150 2xday - made it to ER (4 eggs), but not ET
    Cycle 2 - Cetrotide/Menopur/Gonal-f 300 2xday - IVF canceled
    Cycle 3 - OCP/Lupron/Gonal-f 2xday- ER (4eggs), two embryos transfer (8 & 5 cell)
    Cycle 4- OCP/Lupron/Gonal-f 2xday - ER canceled
    Cycle 5 -OCP/Lupron/Gonal-f 2xday - ER (4 eggs) ET (2 embryos)
    Cycle 6 - Microdose Lupron/Menupor/Bravelle - ER(2 eggs) ET(2 embryos)

Negative Pregnancy test after all 3 transfer's.

My question is, since I am 35 and my response hasn't been the greatest, is there any protocol that would work or should I just proceed with donor egg?

We do have a different approach that is more specialized and more aggressive than what you have done. We may not be able to get more eggs, but we do think we can make the ones you do have better by carefully tailoring the protocol for your specific needs. However, even with our approach, we will probably not have the same chance with your eggs that we could get with an egg donor.

If you contact me directly, I would be happy to review your case with you in more detail. Then I can make specific recommendations. Remember, it only takes one good egg to make a baby and age is the most important predictor of outcome.
