  • failed ivf,age 27?

    Hi Dr.,

Let me tell you my history:
    2 clomid iuis= negative
    1 injectable iui=neg
    2 fresh ivf= neg
    1 FET= chemical

My diagnosis is unexplained although I have been on the low side of responding for my age according to my RE. I never had more than 9 eggs at retrieval, but on day 3 most were healthy looking 8 cells and by day 5 I had 2-3 blasts with grades such as 5aa, 4aa, 3aa, 3ab. My husband has been diagnosed with low motility. Ive never been tested for immune issues as my RE does not believe in them. Also, my husband and I are both 27 and have been ttc for 1.5 years.
    My questions are:
    1. What other tests would you suggest having done?
    2. Should I have PGD testing done on embryos? Is it possible that all of my embryos even at such high grades are not of good quality?
    3. How many cycles should I try before considering donor egg/sperm?
    Thank you!

Young women like you can usually get a baby using thier own eggs. In some cases we need to specialize the stimulation in order to get good eggs. Contact me directly and I would be happy to review your case with you in more detail. Often slight changes are all that is necessary.
