    Down a pound at weigh-in! I am so much more motivated after being down -- I used to go get drive thru after weigh in and tell myself I'd get serious tomorrow. But, since I am down 2 weeks in a row, I am coming home and making my own lunch. Yipee!

    Short run today, during which I was thinking, "how I am going to finish a half marathon on Sunday?" But I'm sure I'll finish. I don't spend as much time running anymore, so it feels harder even though I know I'm stronger in other ways.

    Also, doing very well to not eat the kids' halloween candy. I told them if we saved all the chocolate, we could make ice cream on friday night and they could crumble the candy on top. The ice cream maker is one of those plastic balls, so it only makes a pint - not enough for me to eat anymore than a taste :-)

    Yeah for you!!

    my food has been solid...

    I need to do a 3 mile walk today.. running was hard yesterday after a 10 day break. My ankle started hurting halfway through so I finished my 3 miles on the elliptical. My goal is 3 miles a day, 6 days a week. I don't really care if it's walking or running or elliptical at this point. That said, looks like I will have to get it in this afternoon. I've wasted this morning doing I'm not sure what. Now I'm off to read with kindergartners.

    The sun is out today. I'll probably walk outside. Enjoy your day!
