I'm back...it's been years, but I finally am remotivated to get back on the fitness/diet bandwagon.
I got the book "17 Day Diet". It's nothing new, but for some reason is the motivation I need. I can do 17 days (then there are the next 17 days etc) and is a total "eating healthy" plan focusing on whole foods.
The first 17 days is mostly lean proteins, veggies, some fruits (low sugar). Cutting out carbs and sugar which I desperately need to do, and cutting it out completely is the only way I've found that works well for me, but...
Breakfast is my issue. His suggestions are around egg whites and yogurts etc., neither of which appeal to me. What are my other options? I've been doing a SlimFast bar (and a coke, which I'm going to cut!) but I know that has a lot of sugar in it.
The second and third "17 day" plans add a breakfast cookie, which could work for me, but I don't want to start by making too many substitutions/excuses, or I'll be back to my coke and sugar breakfast.
I can do the rest of the day, but breakfast is my sticking point.
