  • Weekly Check-in

I'm up .5 lb this week. I'm okay with that, considering. I did not eat well last week. I'm still having a hard time getting back into the swing of exercising. I worked out at home a little bit, went to the gym once, went for a walk, and went ice skating. I saw my cousin's wife on Saturday and she kept staring at me, then finally just keep oohing and ahhing over how "skinny" I look.

With Christmas coming up, this week should be tough.

I'm up this week, too - .4. Considering I ate like a fool last weekend (not the one that just passed), I wasn't too surprised, plus I didn't get in any workouts :-(

I'm up from this weekend, too - Thursday night was my book group's Christmas dinner, wine, dessert, good food - that'll do it. But I was pretty good over the weekend and plan on eating well this week in advance of the weekend - wish me luck ;-)

I think the only exercise I'll be getting will be running from store to store, to the post office (ack!) and wrapping presents - hope it's enough ;-)

    Have a good one all!

      Me three...

I'm up .8 pounds. I baked cookies over the weekend, took my BFF out for a birthday dinner and drinks, and the scale is reflecting all of that.

I have LOTS of family coming for the holidays, so starting Wednesday, I'm going to be feeding a crowd through the 27th. It's going to be fun, love having the all the grandparents, siblings, neices, etc. but it is also going to be a lot of cooking -- yikes!

I started running again! I ran 2 miles on Saturday, felt like 200 miles. hahaha. How quickly the conditioning goes away. Last night I ran 3 miles. So I am recovering slowly from the gallbladder surgery. I go for my post-op consult today and am just glad to be done with it all and feeling better.

I am realizing I am woefully behind on christmas shopping -- so between getting this house cleaned for all the company, shopping for groceries, and hitting the malls/stores over the next few days, maybe I'll survive the holidays with only a minor gain.

      Have a good week!

Hi girls! Sorry I wasn't able to stop by yesterday. I was exactly the same for the week, so no gain no loss. It is a challenge during the holidays for sure. I am looking forward to January (while still enjoying the holidays) for many reasons. I can't wait to knock out the rest of these pounds in 2012 and get to goal by summer.

Oh yes, one of my sisters is getting kinda serious with her boyfriend and I hear the very distant toll of wedding bells. And you know what that means . . . . . BRIDESMAID DRESS!! That will be a great motivator!!!

Hang in there, guys. Kim, sounds like you're making a great recovery. Have a great week, everyone!
