I'm kind of a newbie here looking for pros-cons for ww and ww online. I need to do something and WW seems like the best choice for me. I just can't decide how to do it. Has anyone here had experience with either way?

I have been going to WWs (this time around) for almost 1 year now (and am down 49.2 lbs!). I prefer going to meetings, I need that accountability of getting on the scale at the meeting each week, my home scale is less reliable. Plus I really like the leader at my meeting and the group at my meeting is great - lots of lifetime members that come each week, a lot of people that are meeting their goal right about now, some newer members, etc.
I also frequent the WW boards and there are a number of members there that have done it solely online. There is 1 poster in particular who has lost over 100 lbs. and did it online only.
You basically have to figure out what would work best for YOU, perhaps give online a try and if you're not happy with your progress, try meetings for a while.
