  • Weekly Check-In (2/27) Do we do it on Mondays?

Did very well last week. High intensisty walk 4 or 5 times last week.
    Nice family hike on Sunday.
    Overall ate very well.
    Down 1.3.

Expected it to me more of a loss, esp week 1, but AF arrived pretty much at weigh in time, so I'll expect to see a better loss this week.

A loss of 1.3 is great!

I am down .5 lb this week. Eating was very good last week, except for a slice of pizza on Saturday night and a piece of French Toast on Sunday morning. I went ice skating and swimming last week with the kids. I worked out at home every day and went to the gym 3 times.

First of all - Welcome WT! I think you will be very happy with the "new" WW plan. I did the old plan 10 years ago, and while I had success, I got stuck at a certain point and couldn't lose more. I feel much more successful with the new plan, and I really like it better. Instead of focusing just on low fat/high fiber, it also steers you away from processed foods (at least that's how I see it). I feel SO MUCH healthier, have better energy, etc. My major changes are, I eat much more fruit and I do not eat much rice or bread. I also limit my wine to Saturday night, and I'm happy with 1 or 2 glasses. I was also an every night wine drinker, but I haven't had any issues adjusting. I think the sweetness of the fruit and a little bit of chocolate replaces the sugar you have in wine, so every night after dinner I have an orange and then I have some mint tea and 3-4 hershey's kisses (which I eat VERY SLOOOWLY).

I didn't check in last week, but as of today, I have lost 17 lbs in 8 weeks. I'm very pleased. I do need to up my exercise. Right now I walk the dog each morning for one mile, and then 2 times per week or so I do another mile on the elliptical. Work is killing me right now, so I'm just not finding the time to add more.

        Morning all!

I was down .6 at WI on Friday - which puts me back to where I was 2 weeks ago, less than 2 lbs. to goal weight at WWs.

The weekend was less than stellar - dinner out on Saturday night w/ M/FIL, I did eat seafood that was grilled - but also a big portion of risotto, bread and fried calamari. And ice cream for dessert - but tracked & counted it all.

Sunday - big family dinner out for MIL's 75th bday - wine, bread, olive oil, cheese, more fried calamari, veal in a marsala wine sauce, fried cheesecake for dessert - wow! I was stuffed!

I didn't track yesterday's "linner" and had nothing to eat after that meal, I was not at all hungry.

So this week I'm trying to stick to the basics and hope to heck I see some kind of loss on Friday - must up the exercise and get in tons of water.

        Have a great week all!

          Doing ok ....

I dunno what is up with me lately. I have really good days and then a day os complete sabotage.

I did great with exercise this week. Keeping to my training program. But then I "found" (aka "bought") skittles and snickers for the kids' easter baskets and snuck a few. Of course I had to record them in my tracker and that just makes me feel worse. Why do I do this to myself?

Oh well - new day - ONWARD!
