    Hi Everyone!

Hope you had a great week. I'm smiling, because today I was down 1.6 lbs. I'm only .4 lbs from the goal I set (147), but I'm going to keep going as long as my body is willing to lose weight. So, since Jan 2nd, I have lost 21.6 lbs. I'm very happy with that result - close to 2 lbs/week.

We head to Florida a week from Thursday. I tried on my bathing suits this weekend, and while I'm not camera ready, it didn't look too bad! I also pulled out capris that I have not fit for 2 years, and they fit! Yay! 2 years ago when we went on vacation, I had to go out and buy fat pants for the trip. That was a low moment. So glad I finally decided to do something about it.

    How is everyone else doing?

I am down 1.5 lbs this week, so I'm pretty happy. I'm trying to put the drama from the past few weeks behind me. My eating and exercise wasn't great last week, but it wasn't horrible and obviously something clicked. I need to do better this week and get my head back on straight.

Great job ladies!! I think I found the weight you lost... I was up 1.4 at WI on Friday, as I'm on maintenance w/ WWs, I'm not overly concerned about the gain, still trying to find the right balance of how much more food to add in and when and what... strange after 13 months of trying to lose weight to now try to find out how to maintain that balance.

And of course I have to deal with weekends, which I seem to think is a reason to toss all my hard work out the window and eat whatever I like whenever I like... thinking like that brought me to WWs 50 lbs. ago - but if being a little reckless over the weekend and reining it in during the week is the way for me to maintain my loss, then I'm ok with that.

Pleaky - enjoy that vacation, you've done a fantastic job so far, keep it up!!

kd - keep plugging along, you are nothing if not determined :-)

Thanks JJ, I am proud of myself, but I'm most thrilled that it really hasn't been hard. I had done the old WW, and while I liked it, I like the new program much more. The free fruit has made all the difference for me, and really changed my palate. I don't have any cravings for the salty snacks I used to gravitate towards. I feel thinner, but most of all, I feel healthier.

My neighbor, who lost about 35 lbs on WW two years ago, maintains the same way you are describing. She counts points during the week, and then doesn't count on the weekends, and she has managed to maintain. If she does see the scale jump up, she reins it back in. I'm sure you will find that balance. You have already come so far!
