Hi. I am 38 yo & 7wk pg through IVF. I have one previous pg 13 years ago during which I had gestational diabetes & preterm delivery @ 34 wks. Son spent 2 wks in NICU but is now taller than me!
I have been having lots of abdonminal pain, tenderness, esp during intercourse, & my cervix is low & dialated (about the width of my index finger). Is this normal for this stage of pregnancy/post IVF? I don't have an OB yet & my RE is out for holidays. I am trying not to drive myself crazy with worry but the cervix being dialated makes me nervous (I am used to monitoring my cervix through 4 years fertility efforts, so I know what dialated feels like). My beta #s were great- 188, 422, & 1418 & I am taking weekly hydroxy progesterone shots & wearing an estrace patch. What do you think? I appreciate any feedback you can give me!
