South Dakota Rep. Stephanie Herseth Sandlin holds a seven-point advantage over her top Republican challenger, Secretary of State Chris Nelson, according to a Rasmussen Reports poll. Herseth Sandlin leads Nelson by a margin of 45 percent to 38 percent, with 11 percent of voters undecided. That's the same lead the congresswoman posted in a December Public Policy Polling survey, which had her topping Nelson 46 percent to 39 percent.
