Florida Republican Gov. Charlie Crist said he supports a federal probe into former state GOP Chairman Jim Greer's management of party contracts and credit cards, crediting Democratic state CFO Alex Sink, who's running to succeed him as governor, with the idea. Crist acknowledged it was his choice to put Greer in charge of the state party, but said: "[T]his thing stinks."
