Womack leads for Boozman seat

A poll commissioned by TalkBusiness.net showed Rogers Mayor Steve Womack leading the GOP field in Arkansas Rep. John Boozman's open seat with 21 percent support. State Sen. Cecile Bledsoe took 17 percent and former state Sen. Gunner DeLay came in third with 16 percent. Twenty-seven percent were undecided ahead of the May 18 primary and possibly June 8 runoff. The winner will face Fayetteville City Attorney David Whitaker, the only Democrat in the race.
