Durbin notes Alexi cash woes

Asked on a local TV station if Illinois Democratic Senate nominee Alexi Giannoulias was in trouble, Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) acknowledged the candidate "faces a challenge in money." But Durbin insisted that Giannoulias was taking steps to clear up questions about his family's flagging Broadway Bank, telling the station: "For four years he's had nothing to do with that bank as state treasurer."
