A Washington-based Republican group is running ads in the Lansing area against state GOP Attorney General Mike Cox, spotlighting his investigation of a 2002 party at the Detroit mayor's mansion that was linked to the death of a stripper. The ad says Cox "didn't talk to a key witness" during his investigation. Cox's team accused GOP primary opponent Rick Snyder of funding the ads -- an accusation Snyder's camp denies.
