Tree thoughts....

I think that it was decided that part of the donation funds would be to purchase and plant a tree in Al's memory. I know that there were concerns expressed about planting it at Alison and Al's house and potentially having to leave it if the family moved, thus making it harder to move. In a post on PNO, Alison mentioned that they were asking for memorial funds to be given to Al's HS athletic department. She was also going to buy "bricks" for the walkway. I can't find the post right now but someone else might be able to.

What about planting the tree at the HS as part of the walkway w/ a plaque? Obviously this is up to Alison but I was thinking that it was a possibility b/c the tree would be there forever (hopefully).
