  • Funny political Halloween sighting...

Last night while trick or treating, we saw a car with "Obama 4 Prez!" written on the back window. Directly across the street was a car with "Nobama!" on the back window. I wonder who wrote on their car first? LOL

When DS saw "Nobama!" written on the car, he didn't want to go there for candy. He was so offended!

(I will say, that I wish instead of "Nobama!" people would write who they are voting FOR. They have every right to express their feelings, but it just seems so negative. Par for the course, I guess.)

I'm not understanding what you mean by this?

In our neighborhood, the democrats (I could tell by the yard signs) had some of the best decorations. One house had a scary voice talking to us ... inviting us to come to their house because they had the best candy on the block. One had a haunted garage and the man was dressed like a monster. They were fun houses.

politics in general can get very negative and it's hard to expect anything less on EITHER side...I don't think she was implying that ONLY the McCain supporters would be negative....woudl she? Now I don't know either

I meant that I've heard McCain supporters say much more about why they don't support Obama than why they DO support McCain. So it didn't really surprise me that rather than write "McCain 4 Prez!" on her car, the woman in question wrote "Nobama!"

Is that the 1st time you've seen "Nobama"? That's all over the place out here. Along with the Obama circled with a line through it. I saw one the other day on the way to work that said NObamARAB. Now that ought to really tick some people off.

                Thank goodness it's almost over!!

No, I've seen it before. Although in NJ, you don't see too much of it!

I'm sure that seeing and hearing Nobama is as offensive to dems as seeing signs like I've seen in my area and on tv that have "McCane" and a pic of a hunched over old man with a walking cane.
