  • Feeling really nervous

This is the first election that I can remember where I felt this way. Even with all the stuff surrounding the Bush elections on election night I didn't feel anxious. I do tonight.

I have on our local news (only VA, DC and MD news - news channel 8 for those who know) so I can find out what is happening here in VA.

I'm more excited than nervous...I don't remember ever watching an election like this. Whatever happens, honestly, I'll get up tomorrow and go about my day as usual.

Me too. My stomach is in knots. More than anything, I want there to be a clear winner. I just can't listen to four more years of conspiracy theories as to who sabotaged polls in which states.

In Washington State, 2004, the gubernatorial race was 129 votes apart. There were THREE recounts - Even though one person was sworn in on Jan 12, the other party did not concede until June 6.

I really do feel like my vote counts, it has to.

I tried to explain this to my kids today. I truely believe every vote counts.
