Thank you. I finally got our letter done last night. Now I'm just waiting to get my recommendation letter from my doctor. He just sent me my medical records with a hand written note on the bottom saying I needed IVF. I talked to Nancy from INCIID and she is going to send me a sample letter. I am so very anxious and nervous about everything. I pray things will go well for us! Keep us in your prayers and thank you for keeping in touch.

You're almost there!! Just a recommendation, when you mail your packet in, get a delivery confirmation so you can tell when it was delivered.

Thank you. I definitely will do that. Let me ask you something. Did you hand write your letter or did you type it? I hand wrote mine because I thought it would make it more personal. What are your thoughts on it?

I typed my letter. I make a lot of mistakes and like to re-word things a lot and I didn't want to have a whole bunch of white-out on there I would say if you have really nice handwriting to go for it, but you also want to be sure that they can easily read it. I think it's a personal judgment call. One thing we did do that was optional is include a picture, I just printed it out on regular 8.5x11 paper.

Application Sent - Now what?

Well, I finally got my application sent. I put it in the mail today. Do you have any advise on what I need to do now. Is there another forum I need to go to?

Congratulations!!

At this point all you can do is wait for INCIID to send you a confirmation email that they received your application. When I was waiting for the applications to be reviewed, I started my own thread in case other applicants wanted to chat while we were waiting; you could definitely do that if you wanted to.

Did you get your scholarship? I just sent mine for the june deadline and i have the same issue as you only i had my tubes removed about 5 years ago but had the same issue form a young age... I wish oyu the best of luck !!

Feeling Discouraged

Greetings Everyone.

My Husband and I have been trying to have a baby for almost 7 years. I have 3 grown children from a previous marriage and he has none. I am 45 now and things are looking grim. We had 2 ectopics and 1 chemical. I need advise. He doesnt want to adopt. Everyone in his family has children but him.
Please give us some advise
