I hope everyone comes over to the new format boards. Traffic was pretty slow before, I hope this doesn't deter people even more.

Christine- Did you see my last post before they pulled the plug on the old boards completely? I had just asked how things were going since we hadn't gotten an update from you in awhile. Hopefully you have a great update.
For some reason, my posts aren't showing up since they moved to the new format. I emailed the admin, hopefully it will be fixed now???

Sorry, just saw your post now, and trying to get used to the new message boards. Not sure I'm a big fan, but I guess we'll get used to it.
AF came today, exactly on time, so this IUI cycle was a bust. The good news is that DH is more seriously considering ICSI much sooner than we originally planned. We'll likely do it in early November -- frankly, I'm getting a little tired of all of the disappointment, and I think he is, too. It's so frustrating. I'm not happy about the fact that we'll likely only get pregnant via IVF, but there's not much we can do about it, I guess.
Anyway, thanks for checking on me. We might do one more IUI just for DH's sake, then IVF/ICSI in early November, before the labs close for the winter holidays.
How are you, Sonia? Sorry, I haven't been following your progress, but I hope you and baby are doing well!

Hi Ladies
I'm here. I am also disappointed with the new format. Anyway, sorry to hear that AF arrived Christine, it is so cruel.
We are heading to Victoria for another IUI on Oct 13 (our thanksgiving). This time, will have clomid, some u/s monitoring, a HCG shot and both progesterone and estrogen support after the IUI. Dr is starting to think that I concieve frequently, but they don't stick. I think we will be done if I have another m/c...they hurt too much.

Newbie with a question
Hello everyone, As you can see I am new to this forum. I am hoping to be of a big support to you as you embark on your IVF journey. Unfortunately, I did not get to that point yet, but I am sure hoping to start the IVF procedure soon, if not in the near future. Hopefully, you guys an be a big support to me as start my journey. Also....I noticed alot of acronyms such as AF, and DS. Can you guys tell me what they stand for. So I can be apart of the online lingo!Comment

it will take you to the place on inciid where they explain all of the online IF (infertility) lingo. AF is aunt flo, your period. DS is dear son, DD is dear daughter, DH is dear husband. There's a ton more and you'll find them all on the link. I was on this board in the past and I enjoy checking to see who is beginning this crazy journey of IVF. Good luck to you. This is a wonderful place to get answers and support.
