IVF Process Started

Well ladies....for those of you (and there were so many I can't remember them all) that I said I would update on our process. As you recall, we were waiting to be matched to a clinic. We were matched last week (with my own doctor at Martha Jefferson in VA) and OFFICIALLY started the IVF process T-O-D-A-Y!!! I went over for preliminary bloodwork this morning. I have another appt. next Wed. (May 6th) and then my husband and I have another appt. next Friday (May 8th). I should be starting the injections in 2 to 3 weeks. I'll keep you posted. I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED to be doing this again (second chance at IVF)!!!

Good for you Tina!! I haven't been here for awhile, sick in the hospital! ick. But I remembered you and wanted to say congrats on being matched with a clinic!! Can't wait to hear about how the process all goes!!

Yep that's right, we got accepted!! Linda said that there was a mix up with my phone number so that's why I didn't get the call when everyone else did.

It was just a "tune up" for my Cf.
In the process were just waiting to hear if we were excepted or not. We turned our app. in for the March group. Has anyone heard from that group yet, that you know of?

Awww, you did the IV's again? Is that what you consider "tune-up"? How'd that go? Hope your back to better than normal!!!

yup thats a tune-up! lol It was three weeks of IV's. But I'm doing pretty well now. Just trying to get my exercising regimen up to normal. Thanks for askin'!

Hi Annette!

It's going GREAT, AWESOME, FANTASTIC!!! I had a doc appt. this morning. Bloodwork, etc. I start Gonal-F injections on Sat. We are tentatively scheduled for egg retrieval around May 23rd or May 24th. I am so excited....so blessed.....so grateful.....so humbled.....just so very thankful to GOD, INCIID, and the very generous people in my life who donated as well as my docs at Martha Jefferson who so graciously decided to be part of the INCIID program. I am speechless at the goodness of God. He's brought all this to me. I believe in giving credit where credit is due. Again, I am so very thankful!!!! Thanks for asking. I'll keep ya posted and if you don't hear from me in a timely manner send me a thread and I'll get back to ya asap. I'm just so busy right now with all of this and working too.
